Adam Smith, who was a source of inspiration for Luigi Einaudi, was born on June 5, 1723.
300 years after his birth, Smith is to be critically reconsidered in the light of recent developments in the global economy.
In this regard, the Einaudi Foundation, which preserves all the original works of the distinguished Scottish economist, several later editions and many translations collected by Luigi Einaudi, suggests some volumes published in recent years on Adam Smith and his work owned by his library.
