Luigi Einaudi and the Italian Olympic athletes of 1952

On the occasion of the start of the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad on 26 July in Paris, we would like to remember the Italian champions of the 1952 Helsinki Olympics received at the Quirinale by Luigi Einaudi on 29 September of that year:  Aureliano Bolognesi, Roberto Battaglia, Franco Bertinetti, Irene Camber, Loris Campana, Mino De Rossi, Giuseppe Dordoni, Dario ed Edoardo Mangiarotti, Guido Messina, Marino Morettini, Carlo Pavesi, Giuseppe Delfino, Nicolò Rode, Enzo Sacchi, Agostino Straulino, together with Zenò Colò, who won the gold medal in the downhill at the Oslo Winter Olympics the same year.
