The institutional bodies and staff of the Einaudi Foundation mourn the passing of Beppe Berta.

Beppe Berta graduated in Modern History from Milan State University in 1975 and was a lecturer in Contemporary History at Bocconi University.

He was director of the Fiat Historical Archives (1996-2002) and president of the Associazione di Storia e Studi sull’Impresa, of which he was a founding member. He was a corresponding member of the Turin Academy of Sciences. He has worked as a researcher and consultant for companies, associations and institutions and as a columnist for several newspapers. Finally, he is the author of numerous publications on economic and industrial history

With the Luigi Einaudi Foundation in Turin, the relationship began as a scholarship grantee immediately after graduation; later, he was cultural advisor, fellow and member of the Board of directors. He was a member of the Committee for the National Edition of Luigi Einaudi's writings.

Beppe was always an important ironic and competent reference point for this Foundation. We will always remember him with love and gratitude.
